Volunteers

The Community Youth League is operated solely by the help of volunteers. The majority of help comes from the parents of the little leaguers, but you don't need to be a parent to volunteer your time!

There are numerous areas where CYL can use help. Coaching,  field maintenance, fundraising, dugout moms and dads, scorekeepers, and board members are just a few of the areas where you can show off your skills!

Lend a hand in supporting CYL by volunteering a small portion of your time. The experience is rewarding! You will maximize the quality experience young players will have in CYL.

Volunteer Today!

People like you, volunteers, are what makes The Community Youth League possible! For more information, please contact CYL by emailing any board member.

Sponsors of CYL

The Community Youth League is dedicated to building character, courage and loyalty in local area youth by providing a fun, safe, and competitive baseball/softball program. To be successful, CYL requires a tremendous amount of support by the local community. Your tax-deductible donation helps offset the costs of equipment, player insurance,  umpire fees, and operational expenses, and will help supplement participation fees.

Your help and support will ensure CYL area youth are provided a positive baseball/softball experience. As an individual or local business involved with CYL, you will benefit by being recognized for your goodwill and support of youth baseball/softball.

Field Days

In an effort to offer the best possible baseball and softball experience
to our young ball players, CYL is organizing field improvement days for
mid- to late April. On these dates, teams will be assigned a given
field and asked to help ready that field for the upcoming season. We
ask all of our young players and their parents to come out and help us
rake and line the fields, set the bases, rake the leaves, clean the
concession stands, etc.. If we all work together we can knock the jobs
out in no time.
